Membership Terms & Conditions

Welcome to StrengthVault, your premier destination for powerlifting and strength training. We are thrilled to have you join our community of dedicated athletes. Before you begin your fitness journey with us, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions that govern your membership:

 

1. Membership Eligibility

 

1.1. Individuals must be at least 18 years old to become a member of StrengthVault. Individuals under the age of 21 must provide valid identification (ID) upon their first visit to the gym for age verification purposes.

 

1.2. Members must provide accurate personal information during the registration process.

 

2. Membership Options, Pricing and Fees:

 

2.1. StrengthVault membership is £39.99 per month. Membership fees are subject to change with prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through email or posted notices within the gym.

 

2.2. A joining fee may apply upon registration, unless otherwise discounted or waived as part of a promotional offer.

 

2.3. In the event of a payment default or failure, StrengthVault reserves the right to suspend membership privileges until outstanding dues are settled. Members will be notified of any payment discrepancies via email or phone, and are required to rectify the situation within 14 days to avoid further action.

 

2.4. Membership fees are due in advance and must be paid in full to activate membership privileges.

 

2.5. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

3. Termination of Membership

 

3.1. StrengthVault reserves the right to terminate a membership and revoke membership privileges without prior notice in the event of:

 

  • Violation of Gym Rules: Members found to repeatedly violate gym rules, engage in disruptive behavior, or create a hostile environment for other members or staff may have their membership terminated.

  • Non-Payment of Fees: Failure to settle outstanding membership fees within the designated timeframe may result in the termination of membership privileges.

  • Breach of Contract: Any breach of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement may lead to the termination of membership at StrengthVault's discretion.

 

3.2. In the event of membership termination, access to gym facilities will be immediately revoked, and membership privileges will cease. StrengthVault reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to recover any outstanding fees or damages resulting from the termination of membership.

 

3.3. Members whose membership is terminated will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees. Any outstanding balances owed to StrengthVault must be settled promptly to avoid further action.

 

3.4. StrengthVault may notify terminated members of the reasons for termination via email, written notice, or other reasonable means, as deemed appropriate by StrengthVault.

 

3.5. Terminated members may have the opportunity to appeal the termination decision by contacting StrengthVault management within 2 Weeks. Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the decision of StrengthVault management will be final.

 

4. Gym Rules, Safety & Code of Conduct:

 

4.1. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards fellow members and staff. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or vandalism, will result in immediate termination of membership.

 

4.2. Before membership is activated, members will be required to review and sign the gym rules and regulations. By signing, members acknowledge their commitment to adhering to these guidelines.

 

4.3. Members are responsible for familiarizing themselves with all posted gym rules, safety guidelines, and equipment usage instructions.

 

4.4. Members are encouraged to maintain a clean and tidy workout environment by properly disposing of trash and returning equipment to its designated location after use.

 

5. Dress Code and Attire

 

5.1. Members are required to wear appropriate workout attire while using the gym facilities.

 

5.2. Proper athletic footwear, such as closed-toe athletic shoes, is strongly recommended for safety and support during workouts. While any footwear is permitted, StrengthVault advises against wearing inappropriate footwear, such as crocs or sliders, as they may increase the risk of injury. StrengthVault is not liable for any injuries sustained due to the use of inappropriate footwear or lack of footwear.

 

6. Equipment Usage

 

6.1. Members are responsible for using gym equipment in a safe and proper manner. Prior to using any equipment, members should familiarize themselves with its proper operation and any safety precautions.

 

6.2. Equipment must be returned to its designated location after use, and members are encouraged to wipe down equipment after each use.

 

6.3. It is the responsibility of each member to report any malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns to gym staff immediately.

 

6.4. Personal equipment brought into the gym must comply with safety standards and not pose a hazard to oneself or others.

 

6.5. StrengthVault reserves the right to restrict or revoke equipment usage privileges for members found to be negligent or in violation of gym policies.

 

6.6. Each piece of equipment has designated weight limits which are displayed on our website. Members must adhere to these weight limits to prevent damage to the equipment and minimize the risk of injury.

 

6.7. Proper form and technique should be maintained at all times while using gym equipment. If unsure, members are encouraged to seek guidance from gym staff or certified trainers.

 

6.8. Some equipment may be reserved behind the reception desk. These items can be given out upon request to any member. Additionally, certain specialist bars may be reserved for specific exercises. Members are encouraged to inquire at the reception desk for availability and further information.

 

7. Personal Belongings

 

7.1. StrengthVault is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Members are advised to keep their valuables secured at all times.

 

7.2. It is recommended to keep personal belongings such as wallets, keys, and phones with you at all times.

 

7.3. Any items left unattended and unclaimed in common areas may be removed by gym staff. Any items found will be placed in lost property and stored for a period of one week before being disposed of or donated to charity.

 

8. Membership Cancellation

 

8.1. Members may cancel their membership by providing written notice to StrengthVault via email at least 30 days in advance.

 

8.2. Membership fees are non-refundable, and cancellation does not entitle members to a refund of any prepaid fees.

 

8.3. Any outstanding balances must be settled before membership cancellation is finalized. 

 

8.4. Upon cancellation, access to gym facilities will be revoked, and membership privileges will cease.

 

8.5. StrengthVault reserves the right to modify or terminate membership cancellation procedures at any time, with notice provided to affected members.

 

9. Liability Waiver

 

9.1. By becoming a member of StrengthVault, individuals acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with physical exercise and strength training. Members agree to release StrengthVault, its owners, employees, and agents from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses sustained while using the gym facilities or participating in any gym-sponsored activities. Members are responsible for their own safety and well-being while using gym equipment and facilities. It is recommended to use equipment properly and follow safety guidelines at all times.

 

9.2. StrengthVault is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from member negligence, failure to follow gym rules and safety guidelines, or improper use of equipment.

 

9.3. Members are encouraged to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program to determine their individual fitness level and any potential health risks.

 

9.4. StrengthVault is not liable for any injuries that occur as a result of lifting without spotters or safety measures in place. Members who choose to lift without spotters or safety precautions do so at their own risk.

 

10. First Aid

 

10.1. StrengthVault is committed to providing a safe environment for all members. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, members should seek assistance from gym staff immediately.

 

10.2. First aid kits are located [provide location(s)] within the gym for the treatment of minor injuries. Members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the location of first aid kits upon joining StrengthVault.

 

10.3. Gym staff are trained in basic first aid procedures and will provide assistance to injured individuals to the best of their abilities. However, it is important to note that gym staff are not medical professionals.

 

10.4. Members are responsible for their own safety while using gym facilities. If a member requires medical attention beyond basic first aid, they should seek professional medical assistance promptly.

 

10.5. StrengthVault is not liable for any injuries sustained by members while using gym facilities or participating in gym activities. Members use the facilities at their own risk and are encouraged to exercise caution and good judgment at all times.

 

11. Guest Policy

 

11.1. StrengthVault offers day passes for individuals who wish to access the gym facilities for a single day.

 

11.2. Day passes grant access to gym facilities during regular operating hours on the day of purchase.

 

11.3. Individuals under the age of 21 must provide valid identification (ID) upon purchasing a day pass for age verification purposes.

 

11.4. Day passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

11.5. Day pass holders are required to adhere to gym rules, safety guidelines, and code of conduct during their visit.

 

11.6. StrengthVault reserves the right to deny or revoke day pass privileges at its discretion.

 

11.7. The cost of a day pass may be subject to change at any time, with notice provided to individuals upon inquiry or purchase.

 

11.8. StrengthVault reserves the right to modify or terminate the day pass policy at any time, with notice provided to members and potential day pass holders.

 

12. Privacy Policy

 

12.1, The privacy policy governing the collection, use, and protection of member information is available for review on the StrengthVault website.

 

13. Feedback and Complaints

 

13.1. StrengthVault values feedback from its members and is committed to addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner. Members are encouraged to provide feedback, suggestions, or concerns regarding their experiences at StrengthVault. Feedback can be submitted to gym staff or management in person, via email, or through the gym's official communication channels.

 

13.2. StrengthVault is dedicated to resolving member complaints promptly and fairly. Members with complaints or grievances should contact gym management to initiate the resolution process.

 

13.3. Members will be kept informed of the progress and resolution of their complaints to the best of StrengthVault's ability.

 

13.4. StrengthVault reserves the right to modify or update the feedback and complaint resolution process as necessary, with notice provided to members.

 

13.5. StrengthVault will handle all feedback and complaints with confidentiality and respect for member privacy.

 

14. Hours of Operation

 

14.1. StrengthVault's regular hours of operation are as follows:

 

Monday: 7am - 10pm

Tuesday: 7am - 10pm

Wednesday: 7am - 10pm

Thursday: 7am - 10pm

Friday: 7am - 10pm

Saturday: 8am - 8pm

Sunday: 10am - 4pm

 

14.2. Holiday closures or special hours will be communicated to members in advance via email, posted notices within the gym, or through other reasonable means.

 

14.3. StrengthVault reserves the right to modify its hours of operation at its discretion, with notice provided to members.

 

15. Emergency Procedures

 

15.1. In the event of fire, natural disasters, medical emergencies, or other emergencies, members are advised to follow the emergency procedures outlined by StrengthVault.

 

15.2. Emergency exits, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other emergency equipment are located within the gym. Members should familiarize themselves with the location of these resources upon joining StrengthVault.

 

15.3. In case of evacuation, members should exit the premises calmly and follow instructions from gym staff or emergency personnel.

 

15.4. In the event of a fire, members should evacuate the premises immediately and assemble at the designated fire assembly point located at the end of the car park.

 

15.5. Members should not re-enter the building until authorized to do so by emergency personnel or gym staff.

 

16. Personal Training

 

16.1. Personal training services provided by external personal trainers are allowed at StrengthVault, subject to the following conditions:

 

16.2. Personal trainers must obtain permission from StrengthVault management before conducting personal training sessions with clients within the gym premises.

 

16.3. External personal trainers are required to provide proof of liability insurance and certification from a recognized fitness organization before offering personal training services at StrengthVault.

 

16.4. Personal training sessions conducted by external trainers must not disrupt the normal operation of the gym or interfere with the experiences of other members.

 

16.5. Personal trainers and their clients must adhere to all gym rules, safety guidelines, and code of conduct while using gym facilities.

 

16.6. StrengthVault reserves the right to revoke permission for personal trainers to conduct sessions within the gym premises if they fail to comply with gym policies or if their conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

 

16.7. Personal trainers are responsible for cleaning up any equipment used during personal training sessions and ensuring that the gym premises are left in a clean and orderly condition.

 

16.8. StrengthVault is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from personal training sessions conducted by external trainers. Clients participating in personal training sessions do so at their own risk.

 

17. Drug and Steroid Use

 

17.1. StrengthVault maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards the illegal use of drugs, steroids, performance-enhancing substances, and other banned substances.

 

17.2. Members are prohibited from using, possessing, distributing, or being under the influence of illegal drugs, steroids, or banned substances while on gym premises.

 

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

 

StrengthVault reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided to members via email, posted notices within the gym, or through other reasonable means, and amendments will become effective on the specified date in the notice. Continued use of the gym facilities following the effective date of any amendments will constitute acceptance of the revised terms and conditions. Members have the right to reject the amendments and cancel their membership within 30 days of receiving notice of the changes, with StrengthVault providing refunds for any prepaid fees in the event of membership cancellation due to rejection of amendments.
